There isnt a fuel pressure sensor on this engine either. Hence the no-code scenario. Engine has a new fuel transfer pump, a new relief/regulator valve and a new filter head/base. All EUP's have had o-rings replaced. There is a fuel temp sensor on the engine which has to be removed to check fuel pressure.

Dieseldoctor, when you say the fuel filter, are you saying the seal is leaking, or the filter is pluged? 98 12v, 4x4, nv5600, 16.5*, 0 plate, custom AFC, 3k GSK, 370 inj, 16 cm housing, ARP studs, O-ring Head, AFE Intake, 60lb valve springs, Bd exhaust brake, 4" exhaust, Guages, 265,000 miles of hard work.
The fuel pressure is checked in the fuel temperature sensor port at the left front corner of the engine behind the engine lifting bracket. At idle the pressure should read 60 to 70 psi. Many times we have seen the overflow valve fail if the pressure is too low. In this case the engine stumbles when it first starts up then smooths our 10 seconds ...

Checking Fuel Line and Fuel Filter. Park RTV on a level surface and raise the bed. Inspect fuel lines and pipe clamps for damage or deterioration. Replace them if damaged. Check to see if fuel filter is clogged or contains water. If either is true replace it. Fuel lines and clamps should be inspected annually, or after every 100 hours of use ... Warren, you mention that the fuel rate should be 900-1000 cc's exiting the fuel pump. I assume you are referring to the electric roller pump mounted under the fuel tank up front? I have heard some other opinions state that it should be 900-1000 cc's coming through the return line back to the filter from the injection pump. Mar 05, 2019 · Look up the service interval for the fuel filter in your car owner's manual or vehicle repair manual.
